Let’s explore how I can help restore hope, support you, and transform your health…
As a woman in my 50s who has personally experienced and overcome mold toxicity, severe gut and hormone imbalances, and trauma, I’m deeply passionate about helping women 40+ uncover and address root-cause gut, autoimmune, and hormone issues, while also supporting and rewiring the nervous system for true healing.
My goal is to help you rebuild trust in your body so you can reclaim a Peaceful Gut and truly THRIVE.

My approach is highly personalized, compassionate, and grounded in over 30 years of clinical experience.
Together, we take a root-cause, whole-body approach, prioritizing nervous system safety so you can move beyond restriction, reconnect with your body, and create lasting, meaningful change.
If you have additional questions, I would love to connect on a complimentary call to see if we’re a good fit.
My passion goes beyond helping you feel better – it’s about helping you uncover the healthiest, most aligned, and abundant version of yourself. 💛
Why am I STILL having gut issues after going gluten-free, dairy-free, and even all organic?
Can you really help me?
This is one of the most common statements I hear – you’re not doing anything wrong! Often it’s not just about what you’re eating, but what’s happening beneath the surface – like microbiome imbalances, inflammation, environmental exposures, or a nervous system stuck in stress mode. I help you uncover those root causes so your body can finally respond and begin to heal.
My endoscopy and colonoscopy are normal, but I don’t FEEL fine. Can you help?
I hear this from over 60% of my clients…and your symptoms are valid! Conventional testing rules out disease, but it doesn’t always explain the dysfunction and why you are feeling the way you do. We look deeper at gut function, the nervous system, and whole-body imbalances so you can finally feel better…not just “normal on paper.”
I was diagnosed with SIBO and treated with Xifaxin… it didn’t help. Why? Can you help me?
This is very common, and you are not alone! SIBO often can’t be treated fully JUST with medication and returns when the root causes, like motility issues, nervous system dysregulation, or underlying imbalances, aren’t addressed. I specialize in SIBO and take a comprehensive, root-cause approach so we can support lasting healing, not just temporary symptom relief … empowering you to take control of your health.

Why does my MD say taking a PPI long-term is okay, but I’ve read about side effects like bone loss? Can I get off this?
PPIs can be helpful short-term, but long-term use may impact nutrient absorption and potentially bone health in some individuals. The key question is why reflux is happening in the first place, because suppressing acid doesn’t address the root cause. I work with you to uncover those causes and support healing so you can reduce or transition off safely in collaboration with your physician.

I have so many food reactions - will I have to become even more restricted?
This is far too common in my practice, and I want to gently reassure you, the goal is not more restriction. Food reactions are often a sign of deeper gut and immune imbalances, not a life sentence. We work to calm the system, heal the gut, and gradually expand your diet so you can enjoy food again and feel confident in your body.
Do you help with weight loss or weight gain?
My focus isn’t on weight alone…it’s on restoring balance in your body. When we support the gut, hormones, and nervous system, your body naturally moves toward its healthiest weight, whether that means losing, gaining, or stabilizing. The goal is always thriving and helping you feel your best, most confident self, not just a number on the scale.
Do you only work on gut health, or can you help with things like cholesterol, bone health, or metabolism?
The body is a connected system, not separate parts. Concerns like bone loss, high cholesterol, metabolic dysfunction, and weight changes are often linked to gut and systemic imbalances. We take a root-cause, whole-body approach, addressing your immediate concerns while supporting deeper healing over time. This is why many of my clients stay with me over time. Health isn’t a destination; it’s an ongoing journey, and many clients continue to learn and grow through different seasons.
What makes you different from other gut health practitioners?
With over 30 years of clinical experience, advanced training in functional nutrition, and my own personal gut healing journey, I bring both expertise and deep empathy to this work. What truly sets me apart is my commitment to partnering with you – not just to reduce symptoms, but to help you truly thrive in your health and life.
I take a comprehensive, personalized approach using tailored assessments, advanced testing, targeted supplements / nutraceuticals, body work, and collaboration with other practitioners when needed.
I also believe that lasting healing cannot happen unless the nervous system feels safe – something often overlooked, yet foundational to true healing.
This is why I use a whole-body, systems-based approach, not just focusing on your gut.
I am fully invested in your transformation and walking alongside you every step of the way. 💛
If I work with you, what is your success rate?
Every healing journey is unique. What I can tell you is that when clients are committed to the process, and I meet them with that same commitment, we see meaningful, lasting progress. Healing takes time (often 4- 12 months), but my goal is to guide and empower you with the tools, support, and understanding you need to truly heal and thrive. I am committed to transformation, not just symptom relief. (Read client experiences)
What kind of results can I expect?
Every healing journey is unique, but many of my clients begin to notice improvements in digestion, energy, and overall well-being within the first 4–8 weeks as we address root causes and support the body as a whole.
Beyond symptom relief, clients often gain a deeper understanding of their body, feel more confident in their health decisions, and experience a greater sense of calm and trust within themselves.
My goal isn’t just short-term results, it’s helping you create lasting, meaningful change so you can truly thrive.

Who do you work with? Do you only work with women?
I primarily work with women in their late 30s to 60s who are navigating gut issues, hormone shifts, low energy, and life transitions – and feel frustrated after trying everything and being told they are “fine.”
They are often:
- overwhelmed by the noise of conflicting health advice
- aware there is a deeper root cause(s) and ready to take their power back
- committed to learning what works for their body and creating lasting change
Most are high-functioning, thoughtful, and motivated to feel better and truly thrive.
I do work with men as well, but I’m especially passionate about supporting women in the peri- and post-menopausal years. I currently work 1:1, offer community support for ongoing clients, and will be launching a unique course in 2027 – stay tuned. 💛
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you feel like you’ve tried everything and still don’t have answers… if you sense something deeper is going on in your body… or if you’re ready for a root-cause, whole-body approach to your health – this may be a great fit for you.
My work is best suited for those who are open, committed, and ready to move beyond quick fixes to create lasting, meaningful, and truly transformative change.
That said, the best way to know is through connection. I offer a complimentary consultation where we can talk through your concerns, answer your questions, and determine together if this feels like the right next step for you.
How often would we work together?
We begin with a comprehensive 2-hour virtual session, where I’ve already reviewed your history, labs, and intake forms so we can use our time meaningfully.
From there, we typically meet every 3–5 weeks for 60-minute follow-ups to support your progress and adjust your plan. Most clients work with me for at least 6–8 months, as true healing takes time and consistency.
After your initial visit, you can choose between a package of sessions or my Signature Gut Restoration Program (read more here).
I’ve tried everything… why should I trust you?
I truly understand that feeling – I’ve been there myself! During my own journey with chronic health issues, I wasn’t getting answers and felt frustrated and hopeless.
That’s why I offer a complimentary consultation so we can connect and see if this feels like the right fit for you. I’m committed to your success, and if I’m not the best fit, I will try to guide you toward someone who is.
There are answers, and there is hope – you deserve to find both!
Do you take insurance? Do I need a referral?
I do not accept insurance, and no referral is needed to work with me.
If you would like to submit your visits for possible out-of-network reimbursement, your insurance company may require a referral from your MD, along with a diagnosis code and reason for care. I’m happy to provide a detailed receipt to support that process.
How do I get started? Do you have free resources?
I would love to connect with you. You can schedule a complimentary consultation at a time that works best for you HERE, and we’ll explore the next best step for your healing journey.
I also offer free resources to support you right where you are, including:
- Gut Assessment + education series
- Anti-Inflammatory Gut Healing Shopping List
- Gut-Approved Products Insider Guide
- “Julie’s Favorite Finds” (twice-monthly emails)
- Ongoing blog education
My hope is to meet you with hope, clarity, support, and next steps – no matter where you’re starting. 💛
